Autumn Snowfall Birdhouse

Those October snowstorms can be so beautiful, and that was the case the day Sally ran out the door, camera in hand, to photograph the large, flat flakes drifting down on the autumn landscape. She was out, sliding around the area on increasingly slippery pavement and paths, chasing the perfect shots. In the end, it was this scene from the first shots she took, in a nearby cul-de-sac while metering the light, that one the day. The storm did a lot of damage to trees still in full foliage. But it was a beautiful storm, until that happened.  This birdhouse was originally designed at a customer's request with room for a quotation or other words on the front below the hole.
