Description: #1564 Native American, Extraordinary, Hopi Polychrome Bowl by Stetson Setalla.Condition: Superb condition.Dimensions: 6" x 13"Stetson is a Hopi belonging to the Bear Clan, Mishongnovi, and has been active since 1980. He was born in 1962. He is the grandson of Roscoe Navasie, Agnes, Navasie and Josephine Setella; nephew of Enice Navasie and Perry Navasie, sone of Justin and Pauline Setella; brother of Given Setalla, Agnes Nahsonhoya, Dee Setalla, Justina Setalla, and Karen Namoki. He has been featured in Dillingham 1994:60-61 and he is also in the biographical databases of: Hope-Tewa Potters, Native American Resource Collection, Heard Museum, Phenoix; Artist Database, Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, Santa Fe. He consistently shows at major competitions and venues throughout the Southwest.
