Outstanding Authentic Rare Konyak Naga, Headhunter Basket with Heads, and Tails, Ca 1950's. #624 Description: #624 Outstanding Authentic Rare Konyak Naga, Headhunter Basket with Multiple Heads, and tails, Ca 1950's. Made from bamboo and cane. Has several different animal skulls, including monkey and dog along with one other that I can not identify. It also has a number of other Naga items adorning the piece. Dimensions: 13" x 10" x 4" Condition: Excellent condition for its age and use over time. It was stored above the kitchen fire as it has a lot of soot on the piece. Please note that the designation Authentic means that the piece was made by the Nagas and used by them in their actual ceremonies and not made for tourists.
