3 Day Youth Wheel Workshop (Ages 10-13+)

Calling all young artists ready for a challenge! In this focused, hands-on 3-day workshop, students ages 10–13 will explore the fundamentals of wheel-thrown pottery. Working on the potter’s wheel takes patience, coordination, and focus—and this immersive experience is designed for young makers who are ready to dig in and get messy. Over three days, students will learn to: Center clay on the wheel (a tricky but rewarding skill!) Form basic shapes like bowls and cylinders Refine & glaze their pieces for firing This workshop is best suited for kids who can sit and stay engaged for 2 hours at a time. Throwing on the wheel can be challenging, but it’s also incredibly satisfying for those up to the task. All supplies are included, and all finished pieces will be glazed and fired by the instructor after the workshop ends. *This will take up to 2 weeks after the last class to get work back!* Come prepared to concentrate, get muddy, and experience the magic of the wheel!
