Acorn Street

This was a sought after photo on my last trip to Boston. This is the famous "Acorn Street" in the Beacon Hill area of the city. In the early 19th century, this street was the home to artisans and trades people. Today, the homes on this street boast to have the most prestigious addresses in Boston. More like an alleyway, it is beyond charming. It embodies the feel of the colonial days with a modern sophistication. Luckily, it was a perfect evening when I photographed here. It was important to shoot this image in the early evening so as to capture the street lights on while they illuminated the cobblestones street.
