Wisps of Pink

I went out to my "go to" spot to shoot the sunrise at the marina in Coconut Grove. I must say, Mother Nature treated me to the show of shows this particular morning. The color in the sky ordinarily dissipates as the sun makes its way above the horizon but not this sunrise. The colors just continued to build into a crescendo of sensational pink and orange brilliance. I was witnessing one of the most amazing sunrises I have ever seen. I had to stop photographing and fully digest what was taking place around me. A scene like this must be savored, enjoyed, and appreciated. I used a very long shutter speed in order to create motion and emotion in the composition. I hope this photo moves you to a different place as it does for me.
