Swamp Mist

Spending a week in the cypress swamps of Louisiana was a surreal experience. This was one of the most unique places I have ever photographed. As my boat gently glided through the waters of the swamp, I was surrounded by massive cypress trees that are centuries old. The trees are draped with Spanish moss creating a haunting yet enchanting landscape. Every turn in the swamp presents a new tapestry of scenery enhanced by the fall colors. What I enjoyed the most was the sense of calm that I felt as I explored this mystical place.
