The Long Room at Trinity College....A trip to Dublin must include, without exception, spending time in The Long Room. Built between 1712 to 1732, this is no ordinary library. I was spellbound as I entered the room. I stood in awe for several minutes before unpacking the camera gear. This was an experience and not just a photo shoot. It was a challenging space to photograph due to the strong side lighting and deep shadows running the course of the ceiling. I hope my image gives you just an inkling of what it felt like to have this space all to myself that special morning.
