We spent countless hours trying to figure out how to make a product that was this close to the original.  They are made from heavy duty 14 gauge steel (factory original is 16 gauge) and almost perfectly replicate the original fit.  We make it easy to align the mounts in your Scout II or Traveler with 3/16" alignment holes, making it almost a drop in fit, with no guess work at all.  Try to get that from other cab mounts!  Remember the value in replacement parts is not how much money you saved, its the time and aggravation saved in trying to make the cheap ones fit, only afterward having to buy the real deal.
