Trailer Hitch

New!! Scout II Heavy Duty Drop Hitch  Another easy “weld it yourself” custom part. This add-on is designed to be used with our any of our show bumpers or heavy duty bumper. In addition to this new hitch being made from heavy 1/4" thick W50 steel, it can now also be used with our heavy duty steel rear bumper with no modifications, so that you can have a double hitch if needed for those bike racks/accessories, in addition to towing a small trailer. These hitches have also been designed to bolt on to any 1971-1980 Scout II or Traveler with the thin chrome bumper pictured, with an unmodified rear frame crossmember. If you like the hitch tucked further under the factory bumper you can easily cut the receiver tube and receiver support to suit.  When installing this hitch we suggest you purchase our rear frame crossmember support (S2-1041) that will increase the thickness of the crossmember to 1/4" steel.  Our rear crossmember support also provides an additional attachment point for your cros
