Joy on a Stem Note Cards

Also available as museum-quality posters. Poppies are my indicator that Summer has arrived. They literally pop up out of nowhere, spread joy, then close up with one of the nicest looking seed pods I know of. They are grand from the first leaves, through to the seed pod just before it explodes. I think people who like poppies, live near each other. At least that is what my sampling of the neighborhood says. To go a step further, they even are in clusters as to what type of poppy. There are the Mexican/California Poppy homes. I get it. If you have a family, or something that absorbs all your time, sprinkle some seeds. Set it and forget it. Sometime later these amazing little baubles of orange appear and stay for a long time.
