Italiano Style

Estate Grown blend of our most prestigious Cal-Ital Varietals, including Sagrantino, Aglianico, Lagrein and Montepulciano. This truly craft style, non-traditional blend is full in the mouth with great ageability, and features hints of tobacco and eucalyptus, with good concentration and nice chewy tannins - complex and yet refined. Tasting notes for the 2021 vintage:  Earthy and robust, yet acidic enough to pair well with food. A baked cherry nose and dark chocolate flavors, but a little floral, too, with dried herbs coming through on the finish.  Aging profiles:  Green label: 10 months oak; Red label: 16 months oak Statistics for 2022 vintage:  Harvest date: 9/13-9/23/22 Alcohol by Volume: 15.1% PH: 3.65; RS: .06%; TA: 6.3
