Stephane Humbert Lucas 777 Sand Dance Sample

What we think: Sand Dance is warm, classy, and inviting, with an ambery labdanum-like feel to it, a combination of smooth rich sandalwood and kashmir wood, benzoin, tonka bean, and styrax against darker cedar and patchouli, which still stays pretty clean and smooth. There's a sweet touch to it with the cocoa and whiskey cream, which work really well in adding more depth and nuance against the ambery backdrop. It's not too chocolatey or boozy at all, and there's plenty to counter the sweetness so it doesn't automatically smell like a dessert. Some people consider Sand Dance a gourmand, but to us it's more ambery. The patchouli here is clean and works to add a slight smokiness with the styrax.  Overall classy, warm, smooth, and deep!
