MARIANA 18SA - 18" SEALED ALUMINUM SUBWOOFER

Introducing the newest member to the Mariana family of sealed subwoofers. Our subwoofers are known for being exceptionally powerful yet articulate. Our newest subwoofer, the Mariana 18SA is constructed of 3/8” 6061-T6 aluminum and welded to be completely inert. Aluminum is four times as dense as the high-quality Baltic Birch plywood we use in our wooden enclosures. While density is important, bracing is more important, and our enclosures have exceptional bracing with the end result being an enclosure that allows the subwoofer to perform exceptionally well, without sound coloration. Another advantage of our aluminum enclosure is the aluminum is half the thickness of our wood enclosures, which results in less material inside the enclosure and 16% more airspace for the driver as compared to our wood enclosures.
