Wool Chinle Navajo Natural Double Saddle Bareback Blanket Pad

VINTAGE RARE FIND Native American Navajo Chinle  Natural Double Sided Saddle Blanket Measures 49" x 29" Excellent Condition & Bright Colors Hand Spun Wool, Cleaned & Depilled Professionally Owner Purchased Directly From Master Navajo Artisan, Virginia Bia, at Hubbell Trading Post Ganado, Arizona.   This gorgeous Navajo saddle blanket was woven by famous master artisan, Virginia Bia. Initially purchased by the owner in 1985 at the Hubbell Trading Post in Ganado, Arizona, directly from Virginia Bia, who said, "the blanket is modern, most similar to a Mexican Saltillo diamond pattern. Unlike most sarapes and blankets, the pad is made from a very dense, coarse spun wool". The blanket is a combination of red, black, and white wool, with a reverse color pattern on the opposite side. There is a beautiful turquoise stripe down the center of the pad on both sides. Pad measures 49" long x 29" wide. This item is on consignment with Delfina Saddlery.
