WOW Elegance Girth - Leather - Sternum Plate

The Elegance girth consists of a small well padded sternum plate, which can be used with 3 different strap options: Soft Straight, Split Soft Straight & H Girth Straps.  The Elegance Sternum Plate is the same width as the H Girth Sternum Plate, but the back end is shaped into a point to accommodate the fixing strap. The Sternum Plate is removable and designed so that it will not impede the forelimbs on narrow chested horses. The Elegance Sternum Plate lifts the girth away from the sternum of the horse so creating a gap either side of the Sternum Plate over the Rectus Abdominus muscles. This allows complete freedom of the Ascending Pectoral muscles, which affect fore limb motion and stride length (though not to the same extent as the WOW FreeSpace Girth). --- This item is the WOW Elegance Girth's Sternum Plate ONLY.
