About the Fixed-Block Very-Slightly-Dressage (VSD) Flap The term VSD originates from Germany, meaning "multipurpose" and essentially describing a more versatile dressage saddle. The Very-Slightly-Dressage saddle is designed to sit somewhere between a Dressage saddle and a General Purpose (GP) saddle. They are designed predominantly for flat-work, hacking and dressage but are still forward-cut enough to do some work over low fences. WOW's Fixed-Block Very-Slightly-Dressage (VSD) Flap has a very positive knee block that performs just as well on the flat as it does in the air. The cut of the VSD is an inch more forward cut than WOW's other Dressage flaps, but 5cm shorter.  The Fixed-Block VSD is an excellent choice for riders with short femurs, horses that do not have sufficient shoulder for the cut of a GP, lesson programs, riding centers, Pony Clubbers, or recreational riders.
