Autumn’s Night

The "Autumn's Night" quilt reminds me of the changing of the seasons. A time to slow down and reflect on all the blessings of summer. This quilt uses a mix of cotton/linen fabrics with mostly neutral colors. I love working with cotton/linen fabric as it softens over time and has such a beautiful hand to it. The backing is a white cotton/linen blend fabric.  For the top quilting, I machine-stitched straight lines. I love top quilting that brings a sense of peace to the overall quilt and doesn't detract from the piecing. Inside is a warm, heavy-weight cotton/wool batting to keep you warm on cold evenings.  It has a double binding and is machine top quilted for added strength and durability.  This quilt measures 99"x100" so it can fit both a queen bed with 20" of drape along the sides or a king bed with 10" of drape along the sides.
