Hope- Bed Quilt

Hope: (n) desire accompanied by expectation of or belief in fulfillment Hope quilt is a whole cloth of dark indigo fabric with a pink and white floral backing. Inside is a light weight organic cotton batting. I love how it makes this quilt super cuddly. I used a shinny rayon, magenta thread to create arches (aka Baptist Fans) all over the quilt. I am in love.  Up until the last few rows of the quilt I wasn't sure what I would name it. It was dark yet joyful and the bright floral backing seemed to offer a surprise of hope.  I seem to keep saying the same thing in my quilts: though there is darkness and hardships there is still hope and joy in the midst of it. There is a little shimmer or glimmer of hope if you choose to see it despite the challenge.   It measures 96"x 96" so it will fit a king bed with a couple of inches off the sides or as a double/queen with more drape off of the sides- as pictured in the photos.  The binding is machine top quilted for added strength. This stunning qu
