Night Fall Classic- Hand quilted

"The sun has set. The sky slowly fades to night as the evening takes the place of day..."  "Night Fall" was created using 4 shades of blues varying from dark to light. I used a hand quilted cross hatching with a thicker thread so it can be visible from a distance on both styles of quilts. Both quilts are approximately 45"x60". Quilt #1 Uses hand dyed fabrics for the blue shades from a local artisan. There is a slight color variation from that technique. It has a pink floral backing made with a silky soft cotton lawn fabric. The binding is a blue floral fabric. The batting is a lightweight, 100% organic cotton that drapes beautifully. Quilt #2 has a deep blue floral backing and binding. It is made with a thick, heavy weight, 100% premium cotton.
