Summer's Night- King Quilt

The "Summer's Night" king quilt (99"x99") reminds me of the long, slow sunny days. This quilt uses lots of fun, neutral fabrics. I used many soft shades of yellows, peaches, creams, and tans. I love all the cute fabrics. It is a perfect color scheme in the bedroom for those who love to change their accent pieces with the season. It would pair nicely with any of my throw/lap quilts as well. For the top quilting, I machine stitched straight lines so as not to take away from the busyness of the prints and the stars. I love top quilting that brings a sense of peace to the overall quilt and doesn't detract from the piecing.  Inside is a warm, heavy-weight cotton wool batting to keep warm on cold evenings. It also helps to highlight the top quilting. The quilt has a double binding and is machine top quilted for added strength.
