The Classic Pattern (Printed Copy)

When I designed this quilt, I knew I wanted a pattern typical of quilts 140 years ago, as well as the colors and prints that were common during that time. This meant a simple, traditional design, elegant top quilting, and reproduction blue print color with tone-on-tone white. This block is a 9-patch variation or "Irish Chain" block with the centerpieces modified just a bit to give the quilt a bit more movement when gazing upon it. This quilt will surely be a beautiful focal point in your farmhouse-style home. I hope you will get loads of joy from making this quilt.
