Winter’s Night- Silver

The "Winter's Night" quilt reminds me of the quiet snowy days of winter. I used subtle blues, whites, and some silvers to create that light feel. The piecing has both stars and 4-patch blocks.  For the top quilting, I machine-stitched straight lines with a silver-grey thread. I love top quilting that brings a sense of peace to the overall quilt and doesn't detract from the piecing. Inside is a warm, heavy-weight cotton/wool batting to keep you warm on cold evenings.  It has a double binding and is machine top quilted for added strength and durability.  This quilt measures 98"x 98" so it can fit both a queen bed with 18" of drape along the sides or a king bed with 9" of drape along the sides.
