Winter's Night- King Size

The “Winter Night” king size quilt (98"x98") reminds me of the slow falling snow in the wintertime. The stars, solid colors, and gentle hand quilting give it a sense of peace when gazing upon it. It is truly an heirloom. This quilt pictured is on a queen bed frame. It will drape 10 1/2" off of the sides on a king bed. Inside I used my favorite cotton wool batting because it has a warm heavyweight feel to it for keeping you warm on the coldest of evenings. The top fabrics are made with a cotton linen blend. This quilt is hand-quilted with straight lines to sort of mimic snow falling. Hand quilting has a different feel and hand, and takes significantly longer to complete than machine top quilting which makes this quilt truly a treasure.  It is a perfect color scheme for the bedroom since the colors are soft and calming.
