Monoprint with Sarah Bazmehri  Sunday, June 22, 2024 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Location: Washington Printmakers Gallery,                1675 Wisconsin Avenue Northwest Washington, DC 20007  Cost: $100 + 15 material fee payable to the instructor The class is limited to 6 people. Class Description: Workshop Overview Using acrylic paint and a glass surface, students will explore creating prints in color.  Inspired by abstract expressionist artists, such as Mark Rothko, the workshop emphasizes the creative journey and the joy of an unpredictable result. Bio Sarah S Barzmehri studied fine arts at the renowned art school in Paris, France (Ecole Superieure des Beaux Arts de Paris), and Graphic Design at University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). She’s an accomplished artist, curator and educator. She has been teaching adults and children for more than a decade.
