Only difference this time was that it was not a melodramatic, histrionic illusion but, actual palpable fact. With trembled, uncertain fingers, I got out my tools and tried to make noises. I failed. My equipment failed me too. So, slowly I began to gather the tools that would not fail me. And there was a huge learning curve. And I needed a project to get me to scale that curve. I had a lot of original songs that I had previously recorded and never published. But, I felt that using original songs that were not fully fleshed out would not push me enough and I did not want to risk having stillborn children because I could not learn these new tools.
