SILVER NEEDLES

DESCRIPTION Silver needles, also known as Bai Hao Yin Zhen, is a type of white tea made from young tea buds that are covered in fine white hairs. This gives the tea its characteristic silvery appearance, as well as a delicate, sweet flavor. Silver needles is a classic and famous white tea from Fujian Province, consisting solely of tips. The tea is harvested during a short period in the spring when the buds are at their most tender and flavorful. The buds are then hand-picked and sun-dried to prevent oxidation and preserve their delicate flavor and aroma. Silver Needle tea has beautiful, silvery white buds of uniform, full-leaf quality.   TASTING NOTES Apricot, honey, light pine ORIGIN Fujian, China CAFFEINE Yes PREPARATION Add 1 Tbsp to 12-oz of 80 degrees Celsius water.
