TUNG TING / FROZEN SUMMIT

DESCRIPTION Tung Ting, also known as Frozen Summit, is a type of oolong tea that is grown in Taiwan. It is named after the mountainous region in which it is cultivated, which is known for its cool, misty climate and fertile soil.  Tung Ting, also known as Dong Ding, is a celebrated, flowery, slightly oxidized tea and is among Taiwan's most famous oolongs. Tung Ting oolong tea is highly regarded for its delicate, floral aroma and sweet, mellow taste. It is produced by partially oxidizing the tea leaves, which results in a rich, complex flavor profile that is often described as "buttery" or "creamy". The tea leaves are also rolled and shaped during the production process, which gives them a unique appearance and allows them to release their full flavor and aroma when steeped in hot water. This vibrant and lilting variety dances with notes of lilac and juniper and is imported directly from the bright slopes of the Tung Ting Mountains often enshrouded in mist. HARVEST Spring
