Antique 10K Solid Gold Victorian Mourning Locket Pendant Brooch

This Antique 10K Solid Gold Victorian Mourning Locket Pendant Brooch is stunningly chunky and rare in its incredible detail level. Covered in star motifs with a large central flower cabochon burst in the middle, it doubles as a pendant charm or a brooch. Rendered in 10K solid yellow gold with full English hallmarks (specifically a kitemark which identifies jewelry registered between the years 1842-1883), the hidden jump ring bail (disguised when you wear it as a brooch) is a later addition. The back has a glass locket which is filled with hair and a C clasp style brooch closure. The gold has a beautiful, rich patina that can only be achieved with jewelry this age.  Sold without chain.
