Artisan Pintxo Plates

Each plate is a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted piece of pintxo-serving art. Donostia Foods foods deserve to be served on something beautiful. These pintxo plates are all individually handcrafted from stoneware clay by Chicago-based artist Susan Volk. The process begins with thrown slabs of clay that are cut, shaped, fired in the kiln, sanded, and hand-painted with glaze to create holdable works of art. Only a limited number are available in each batch, as it, you know, takes Susan a while to make such magnificent creations. This batch consists of four versions: Green Sea, Rocky Shore, Lavender Storm, and Copper Sunset. Mix-and-match as you desire, and know that each individual plate, even amongst its kin, will have its own unique characteristics. Every plate is signed by the artist on the back.
