Derbi Variant Start 5

Super late model Derbi Variant with the Start 5 engine. Not sure what that means? Imagine the peak of moped technology and this is it. Modern scooter style variator setup with chain final drive.  If you've been to a Swoops rally in the past 5 years, you've probably been dusted by this bike. It was assembled and tuned by the Swoops' own Bobby Costello. Bobby has been blasting everyone at rallies since the beginning.  This bike is very tastefully upgraded for a balance of performance and longevity.  It is equipped with an Airsal/Metra 43.5mm 65cc cylinder kit, Metrakit intake paired with a Dellorto 16.16 SHA, and a new generation Metrakit Big Muff exhaust. This Derbi makes very useful power. It can tackle any hill and carry its rider quickly into the mid 50s. It is also capable of easily carrying a passenger.  This Variant only has 317 km on the odometer. Cosmetically it is in exceptional shape with only a couple tiny marks in the paint.
