INFORMATION TASTING NOTES VARIETIES Norman Torres is the young proprietor of the El Chele farm. In fact, his nickname is “Chele,” due to his relatively fair complexion. Norman’s innocent demeanor and tendency to be the butt of every joke makes him endearing. But make no mistake, Norman is a tried and true coffee producer. His farm is located in the Jinotega region of Nicaragua, a few hours’ drive from our other Nicaraguan producers. This is the final micro-lot from Norman’s last harvest. It’s a natural Caturra, sun dried on raised beds. In my opinion, this is his best of his coffees and it presents a fruit-forward cup with a lot of top notes reminiscent of berries.    MILK CHOCOLATE     RASPBERRY     VANILLA Caturra
