Abokichi Okazu Chili Miso Condiment
AVAILABLE BEGINNING DECEMBER 11: not available for the December 4 delivery. Contains: 8 ounces of delicious chili miso condiment, made in Toronto Canada by Abokichi, who Togue's Tips: Yep, another fan favorite from Togue's Formaggio Kitchen tasting night. This was everyone's second favorite item (behind the shallots frizzled in oil), and it was very close. OKAZU is an umami-rich chili, miso, and sesame oil based condiment traditionally eaten with rice in Japan, but it's amazing on so much more. We thought it was delicious on rice, on pasta, on seared scallops, on raw scallops, and we bet it would be amazing on eggs, or mixed in with mayo for a sandwich topping, or mixed in to a salad dressing, or on top of vegetables.. This is just a really, really tasty product, so give it a go and let us know how YOU ended up loving it. By the way, this says it's mild, but we'd call it more medium :)
