The monkfish in this stew is caught in Maine, processed in Maine, and produced by Hurricane's Premium Soup & Chowder, a family-owned and operated soup company in Green Maine.  The monkfish is bought directly from Maine fishermen and all proceeds from the stew go back to supporting MCFA's Fishermen Feeding Mainers Program which supplies local seafood
