They may be on several medications and treatments.  You are looking for a second opinion and ways to make sure you are covering all the bases and keeping them as comfortable as possible.  There are many simple things you can do to help improve your pet's quality of life that conventional veterinarians do not learn about in veterinary school or are not aware of.  Dr. Josie will look over all the medical records, doctor's notes, history, including previous diet, vaccines, injuries, and acute illnesses. All of these things tell a story about your animal's health journey.  She will provide her medical opinion on any diagnostic test results, bloodwork, and imaging. She worked in the diagnostic laboratory 4 years during veterinary school running bloodwork for emergency cases, so lab-work is one of her expertises.
