100 Beste Plakate 24 (100 Best Posters 2024 Catalog)

This catalog presents the winning posters from 100 Beste Plakate 24 with large full-color reproductions, detailed credits (designers, clients, and printers), and short description. Forewords by the association president and jury chair are followed by an introduction in which jury members share their own work and reflect on the selection process. This year’s concept centers on the certificates awarded to each winning designer—reframing them as playful objects that sit between formality and affectionate parody. The yearbook includes the texts "Post Pop vs. Politics" by Fons Hickmann and Susanne Stahl, as well as "Nothing is done!," a conversation between Fons Hickmann, Klaus Staeck and Götx Gramlich on the role of political posters.  100 Beste Plakate is an annual competition that grew out of Die besten Plakate des Jahres, first held in 1966, and has taken its current form since 2001. Open to designers, clients, and printers from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, it recognizes one hundr
