Bookcase No. 1 - Curved Display Bookcase

Bookcase No.1 is a perfect example of furniture as functional art.  Not only does this piece provide ample storage & display space, but it will also act as a classic, bold accent in your home.   A true Dust classic, Bookcase No.1 is a perfect example of Vincent Leman's abstract-traditional design style.  The moldings, feet and arched opening are all traditional furniture design elements that Vincent has referenced and abstracted to create a piece that is both familiar and unusual.  The graceful curves add movement and flow to the piece while the stepped top adds an interesting display space as well as a visual point of contrast.  And of course as functional art, this piece features plenty of shelf space to display your favorite objects.
