Offered here is a rare and exceedingly beautiful damascus slicing / carving knife by famed bladesmith Bob Kramer. Pre-owned in new, unused condition, this stunning knife for the kitchen and dining room was hand forged by Bob from his Ladder W's pattern carbon damascus steel created from a mix of 1084 and 15n20 carbon alloys. Tapering steadily from the handle to tip, the blade is slim, strong, and razor-sharp, offering a fine tip and very slight touch of lateral flexibility toward the end. The handle, sculpted for immense comfort in the hand, is shaped from exhibition-grade desert snakewood with polished, tapered solid brass bolsters, and fastened with two brass pins and a single, custom Kramer mosaic pin.
