Description Tasting Notes Origin Brewing Flavor: Fruitwood smoke, caramel aroma. Smoky bittersweet character. Notes of roasted yams, cacao, cashews, and stewed apricots. Satisfying malty, dry finish. Garden: These tea leaves are from winter 2024 harvest in the Alishan region and oxidized about twice as much as a standard High Mountain Oolong. The leaves were procured and roasted by one of the most skilled tea roasters in Taiwan. He won Champion Prize in the spring 2024 Lugu Farmers' Association Dong Ding Oolong Tea Competition!  In recent years, he has won 3rd and 10th Place, and multiple top 2% awards in the Lugu competition of roughly 5 to 6000 entries per season.
