Travel Tea Set

This is the most compact and economical travel tea set we have come across on the market here in Taiwan. The very user-friendly and attractive gaiwan style teapot has a 140mL capacity, which offers the option of brewing for one, two or three people.The inset lid and external spout makes it much more user-friendly than a classic gaiwan, but just as easy to clean. And the cloth used to line the cups can be folded and used like a pot holder to pick up the pot to pour. The teapot and cups are made from a nice, dense ceramic that offers a nice weighty feel. The outer surface of the teapot has the same glaze as the the cups.  Both the inside of the cups and teapot are unglazed and the ceramic has a rustic, sandy texture. The unglazed inner lip of the pot and underside of the lid allows for a more secure, non-slip fit of the lid on the teapot.
