Ashes

Logline After the tragic death of his wife, a man is unsettled by chilling events taking place in his home. Director's Note This film stars Alan Ruck (Succession, Ferris Bueller's Day Off). Suspense is created in the editing room, and ASHES is no exception. In this project, editors build frightening anticipation by strategically using POVs, flashbacks, and score. In doing so, editors need to choose which moments should serve as "jump scares” and which moments should generate tension but leave the audience on edge.
