Crossover

Logline When whip-smart Mala and aspiring NBA player Doug collide at their predominantly white, Ivy League university in the South, they form an unlikely friendship that ignites their worlds. Director's Note Crossover is a short film with lots of dialog scenes to edit. Each scene contains at least three camera angles of coverage, with one scene containing 15 angles. This project is perfect for newcomers to editing. The multiple locations around a college campus make for beautiful cinematography and look great on a demo reel. As official selection at 16 international festivals from India, to the US; notables include Sarasota, Charlotte, Queens, and Montauk. This short was named 10 times an awardee, including Best American Short at the Love and Hope Festival in Barcelona, Spain.
