β-caryophyllene Food Grade Natural Terpene
Caryophyllene (or β-Caryophyllene BCP) is a spicy, peppery terpene found in many different edible plants. BCP, has a woody aroma that people describe as falling somewhere between cloves and turpentine. This terpene tastes sweet and dry and is often used as a food additive and an ingredient in cosmetics. This terpene is my personal favorite as it has incredibly powerful medicinal effects. Ours is derived from the steam distillation of the clove plant (Eugenia caryophyllata Thunberg) We would like to assure you that we use only terpenes and flavor ingredients that are listed as being generally recognized as safe (GRAS) on a reliable published industry association (FEMA) list and/or are approved for use in a regulation of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. These are FDA/FEMA food grade certified Spices like black pepper, cloves, and cinnamon, as well as herbs like oregano, basil, hops, C.sativa/indica and rosemary, are known to exhibit high concentrations of caryophyllene. 905 m
