Cold Packed Shipping

Highly Recommended for shipping cacao when local temperatures exceed 80°, especially for our Ceremonial Cacao Flakes. Do NOT select "USPS Ground Advantage" as your shipping option if you add the cold packs. It is too slow for them to last, but the option is available for customers in cooler regions.  Flat rate of $3 for 1lb of Cacao (Small Size)Flat rate of $4.50 for 2-4lbs of Cacao (Medium Size) Flat rate of $6 for 5lbs + of Cacao (Large Size) Cold-Packed shipments ship out Monday - Wednesday (Thursday for some locations that will arrive by Saturday), so that your package does not sit around over the weekend.  If you are in an extreme heatwave, when temperatures will reach the 90s or even into the 100s, we suggest either delaying your order or opting for our Ceremonial Cacao Bar, which is a bit less heat sensitive.   We'll add cold packs & insulation to your shipment to increase the chance it will arrive without any melting.
