The main attraction of the necklace is fine carved Netsuke figurine pendant measuring 2 1/8" high 1 7/8" wide.It depicts a woman carrying a vessel and a millstone counterweighton a milkmaid's yoke.The figurine skillfully embellished with fine polychromecrosshatching with flowers.The necklace is 21 1/2 inches long and terminatedwith nicely fluted barrel clasp 30 X 12 mm.The variety of beads include: • round beads 11.5 and 10 mm diameter• fancy beads 31 X 16; 34 X 12: 23 X 15; 26 X 20 mm• jasper beads from 20 mm to 12 mm• gear wheel beads 14.5 mm diameter 7 mm thick• pineapple beads 20 X 12.5 mmThe Netsuke figurine has a maker's mark.Total necklace weight is 148 grams.Excellent antique condition commensurate with age.
