Peperomia Argyreia Watermelon
The Peperomia Watermelon Peperomia argyreia, is a perennial in the piperaceae family. A very popular houseplant due to its shimmering foliage that resembles a watermelon. Native to South America it is a tropical plant that is able to grow well indoors. Light: bright to medium, indirect light. In low light conditions, their leaves will be smaller and the growth will be more leggy. Temperature: 65-80F and moderate humidity. Soil: an airy, moist, and well-draining potting soil mixture. Water: Allow the top 2 inches of soil to dry out in between waterings. Watermelon peperomia are sensitive to both overwatering and underwatering and should not be allowed to dry out completely or be left sitting in water for an extended period of time. Pet Safe: Yes.
