String of Bananas

The string of bananas ( Curio radicans) is a vining succulent native to Africa. This succulent has leaves that resemble a banana. The leaves grow on trailing stems that spill over the sides of planters and hanging baskets. This plant will enjoy a bright location in your home. Light:  Indoors, place your string of bananas where it will receive around 6 -12 hours of bright light per day. This succulent can also handle direct sun and enjoys it. However, if you are going to place your string of banana outdoors place it where it will receive direct sun in the morning or late afternoon, ensure that it is in a shaded area during the more aggressive afternoon hours to avoid scorching its leaves.  Temperature: 30-90 Fahrenheit.
