String of Turtles (Peperomia prostrata) has succulent like leaves that resemble a turtles shell. It is native to the rainforest of Brasil. This adorable plant looks best in a hanging pot to let the leaves trail down. This plant is a slow grower, and it’ll reach full maturity in three to five years.   Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light.  Temperature: 65-80F and moderate humidity. This Peperomia is sensitive to both extreme heat and cold. Soil: Well-draining potting soil. Repot every 2-3 years. Water: Keep soil moist during spring and summer. Cut back on watering during the fall-winter, letting top 2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings.   Pet Safe: Yes All plant batches are unique and sizes may vary. We highly recommend heat pack(s) for plants traveling to places  below 40°. We are not responsible for plant(s) damaged due to cold weather that travel without heatpack(s).
