The Syngonium Podophyllum Butterfly Coral is a popular trailing houseplant with attractive coral heart-shaped leaves. Also known as the Arrowhead, this sub-tropical plant is versatile and easy to care for, making it an ideal houseplant. Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Temperature: 65-80F and moderate humidity. Soil: Well-draining potting soil. Water: Keep soil moist during spring and summer. Cut back on watering during the fall-winter, letting top 2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. Pet Safe: No. Toxic to dogs and cats. Toxic Principles: Insoluble calcium oxalates Clinical Signs: Oral irritation, intense burning and irritation of mouth, tongue and lips, excessive drooling, vomiting, difficulty swallowing.
