Pair of Venetian Rococo Style Caned Barrel Armchairs

Whimsical pair of hand-carved hardwood armchairs or hall chairs made in the Venetian Rococo taste. The chairs feature a round seat with a barrel back form frame. The generous seat has a caned bottom and gracefully curved arms decorated with caned acanthus scrolls on the crest. The back of the seat is embellished with a row of yellow tassels in a conforming arch.
